The object of this event is to start the race by unhooking a choker, run an obstacle course with the choker, set it on a designated log, and run to the finish line. Chokers are furnished by the host school. Spiked footwear, long pants and gloves are required. The judges will check the set choker by pulling the free end. If the button comes out of the bell, the run is disqualified. If the choker is set backwards, the run is disqualified. The choker must be set properly and in a way that it could be realistically used (i.e. cable not kinked).
